“I collect Vintage Barbie and her friends mainly from the 1960’s to the early 1970’s and many other dolls. I’ve become obsessed with old composition dolls from the early 1900’s to 1940’s,” Jennifer shares.
“Restoring composition dolls is a very relaxing hobby for me. I love to take a really old crazed doll and turn her back into a beauty. At the same time, I do my best to preserve her original character."
Vintage Barbie and her friends, MOD ERA Barbies and even some newer collectible Barbies can be found on the Dolls & Decor website, along with many composition dolls and other 1950’s fashion dolls.
As the name implies, Decor is a big part of Jennifer’s vision. She specializes in Victorian and Shabby Chic items with floral designs as well.
“I’ve tried to make Dolls & Decor a reflection of the things I enjoy. In addition to dolls, I love teacups and flowers, especially roses, and framed pictures of Victorian children and ladies," Jennifer concludes.
